About

I have been training and competing in agility for over twenty years, representing Great Britain on 3 separate occasions, including the FCI World Championships. In that time I have achieved great success with a variety of dogs. In the last 16years, all of my dogs have reached the top of the UK sport with my current young dog working up to the same level Grade 7 Championship. Three dogs have qualified for the Kennel Club Olympia Stakes finals and agility finals at Crufts on numerous occasions and we’ve won several national finals and events along the way. Building on this success I have been training other handlers and their dogs and they too have gone on to some fantastic achievements.
In January 2015 I was invited to be part of OneMindDogs Pilot coaching scheme. I am the only OMD coach in the UK and part of an exclusive group of 21 likeminded coaches from all over the world. OMD Coach Pilot scheme

The OMD handling system is based on the natural behaviour of dogs. When communicating non-verbal commands correctly according to ‘dog language’, dogs understand the same message, across the globe. Any dog, from anywhere in the world, will instantly understand OneMind Dogs. It makes sense for the dogs. OMD methodology

I am a fully qualified teacher and spend part of my week teaching A-level biology in a local sixth form college. This gives me the skills and experience to deliver teaching in a variety of styles to suit all handlers and the competence to differentiate activities within whole group settings so that ALL partnerships show progression in their own skills and handling.
